Hawthorne is the transformation of the historic Nathaniel Hawthorne Elementary School into 37 modern apartments.
The design in every unit is inspired by the history of the rooms that held lessons, school plays, and dodgeball. Modern design and comfort integrate into the roots of the building, blending smart functionality into its timeless chalkboards, hardwood floors, and cloak closets.

The spaces at Hawthorne range from efficient studios to large one and two bedrooms.
The renovation also includes expansive 3 and 4-bedroom apartments that were once the school gym and auditorium. And yes, we kept the basketball hoops and stage!
